This "Devil's Pit" as the inhabitants of Velen like to call it, is without exaggeration a giant hole in the ground where the Church of the Eternal Fire has been dumping "sick" villagers for nearing on three centuries. And of course might as well get a little bit of free labor out of em while they're still alive right? It's what the "fire" would have wanted. Anyways in this episode we go exploring that hole.
